Retinoblastoma

Retinoblastoma is a fast growing cancer that develops in the cells of the retina, the light sensitive layer of tissue of the eyeball. There are two types of retinoblastoma; a genetic hereditary form and a non-genetic non-hereditary type.

The common symptoms are a red and irritated eye, deterioration of vision, delayed development, and an abnormal appearance of the pupil which can appear white or yellow.
