Hypermetropia

Hypermetropia, or far-sightedness, is a sight defect caused by the inability of the lens to return to its normal rounded shape, or by the eyeball being too short, which causes the image to be focused on a point behind the retina. People with hypermetropia can experience blurred vision for nearby objects, but can usually see distant objects well.
