Bowman's Layer
The Bowman's layer is one of the three layers that make up the cornea. It is located between the front epithelium layer and the stroma layer. It consists of strong collagen fibers and helps the cornea maintain its shape. If the Bowman's layer is damaged, scarring would normally occur.
