Teledendria, or telodendria, are the branched thin tree-like filaments found at the end of an axon. Each one of these teledendria is called teledendron, which secretes neurotransmitters that act on the dendrites or cell bodies of other neurons via synapses. The teledendria have terminal buttons at their tip that are called "boutones terminaux" which contain neurotransmitters.
